GAME DAY: Hurricanes Begin Homestand Against Tri-City

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a three-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Tri-City Americans at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre.

The Hurricanes (26-23-6-0) are coming off a 5-2 win yesterday afternoon in Cranbrook over the Kootenay Ice. Brad Morrison and Jordy Bellerive each had three points in the victory while Logan Flodell made 26 saves. The ‘Canes snapped a two game losing streak with the victory as they earned their 11th road win of the season.

The Americans (27-19-7-1) enter on a four game losing streak after suffering a 6-3 loss on Saturday to the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday. Juuso Valimaki, Michael Rasmussen and Morgan Geekie scored the goals in the losing cause while Beck Warm allowed five goals on 19 shots in the defeat. Tri-City sits in the first Wild Card position in the Western Conference.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Americans. Lethbridge dropped a 6-5 shootout loss in their lone meeting last year. Tonight will be Tri-City’s first visit to Lethbridge since February 12th, 2016 when the Hurricane earned a 5-3 win.

Tickets for tonight’s game can be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
