GAME DAY: Hurricanes Begin Three-Game Trip in Moose Jaw

Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a three-game road trip tonight in Moose Jaw against the WHL-leading Warriors at 6:00pm Mountain Time at Mosaic Place.

The Hurricanes (25-21-6-0) are coming of their third straight win as they earned a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings last Saturday at the ENMAX Centre. Captain Jordy Bellerive scored a hat-trick in a span of 3:44 with under five minutes remaining in the game to lift the ‘Canes to the win. The Hurricanes are 3-0-2-0 in their last five games and 8-2-3-0 in their last 13 entering play tonight.

The Warriors (40-9-1-2) are 7-3-0-0 in their last ten games after earning a 4-1 win last Saturday at home against the Prince George Cougars. The Warriors were led by forward Justin Almeida who had a goal and three points in the victory. Moose Jaw enters with a 21-3-1-1 record on home ice this season as they lead the WHL in home-ice victories.

Tonight will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors; Moose Jaw earned a 3-2 overtime victory two weeks ago tonight in the only meeting so far this season.
