GAME DAY: Hurricanes Complete Road Trip in Regina on Sportsnet

Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will complete a five-game road trip this afternoon against the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre on Rogers Sportsnet’s Saturday Showcase nation-wide at 1:30pm MT.

The Hurricanes (34-18-5-5) are coming off their second straight victory on Friday as they defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-0 at Mosaic Place. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win while Carl Tetachuk made 35-saves for his second shutout in six day. The ‘Canes improved to 17-9-4-1 on the road this year.

The Pats (18-42-1-2) were handed a 4-0 loss last night in Saskatoon to the Blades at SaskTel Centre. The defeat to Saskatoon was the Regina’s third straight setback. The Pats enter play tonight having posted a 10-20-0-0 record in 30 games at the Brandt Centre this season and are 3-1-0-0 in their last four home games.

Today will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Pats; Lethbridge has won two of the three meetings so far but Regina took the last one 2-1 in a shootout on February 5th in Lethbridge.

VS. PATS: Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Pats. The Hurricanes have posted a 2-0-0-1 record in the three games prior this season. Lethbridge has outscored Regina 13-8 in the three game season series. Tonight will be the return of Nick Henry and Jake Leschyshyn to Regina following a November trade to Lethbridge.
