GAME DAY: Hurricanes End Trip in Portland

Portland, OR – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will wrap up their three-in-three weekend in Portland tonight at 6:00pm MT against the Winterhawks.

The Hurricanes (25-14-4-4) are coming off a 9-1 loss last night in Everett against the Silvertips. Justin Hall returned to the line-up and scored his third goal of the season in the victory. The ‘Canes loss ended a two-game winning streak as they sit second in the Central Division entering play today.

The Winterhawks (29-13-3-2) earned a 3-2 overtime win last night at home against the Seattle Thunderbirds. Lane Gilliss, Robbie Fromm-Delorme and Seth Jarvis scored in the victory. Portland has won two straight games and are 8-2-0-0 in the last ten games.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and the Winterhawks. The Hurricanes earned a 6-5 overtime win in their last visit to Portland two seasons ago.
