GAME DAY: Hurricanes End Trip in Tri-City at 8pm

Kennewick, WA – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end a three-game road trip tonight at 8:00pm MT when they face the Tri-City Americans at the Toyota Center.

The Hurricanes (15-9-3-2) are coming off their first regulation loss in their last eight games last night when they were handed a 6-2 defeat in Spokane to the Chiefs. Igor Merezhko and Jackson Shepard scored in the losing cause which dropped the ‘Canes record to 6-1-1-0 in their last eight games and 7-5-3-0 on the road this season.

The Americans (14-12-1-1) were handed a 4-1 loss last night at home against the Seattle Thunderbirds. Tri-City’s lone goal was scored by overage forward Nolan Yaremko, who leads the Amerks in scoring with 32 points going into play tonight. The Americans have lost five straight games and are 2-6-1-1 in their last ten games.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Americans.
