GAME DAY: Hurricanes End Trip on National Television in Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes end their four-game road trip this afternoon in Moose Jaw against the Warriors at 1:30pm.

The Hurricanes (11-8-2-2) are coming off a convincing 8-4 win last night in Brandon over the Wheat Kings at Westoba Place. Dylan Cozens led the way with a career-high six points, including three goals and three assists. Defenseman Calen Addison matched a career-high with five assists in the win as well. Lethbridge went 5/6 on the power play in the contest. The Hurricanes have now won two straight games and enter today’s game with a 5-4-2-0 record on the road this season.

The Warriors (11-5-3-1) earned a 4-3 overtime victory last night at Mosaic Place over the Edmonton Oil Kings. Tristin Langan, who is the reigning WHL Player of the Week, scored twice including the overtime winner. Justin Almeida and Kaeden Taphorn scored the others in the win. The Warriors have now won four straight games while posting a 5-0-0-1 record in the last six games.

Today’s game will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. Moose Jaw earned a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes last Saturday at the ENMAX Centre.

The game can be heard on 106.7 ROCK with the pre-game show starting at 1:10pm or seen on Rogers Sportsnet nationally.

VS. WARRIORS: Tonight will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. Moose Jaw earned a 3-2 win over the ‘Canes last Saturday at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge. The ‘Canes have posted a 1-3-1-0 record in the last five head-to-head meetings dating back to last year.
