GAME DAY: Hurricanes Face Silvertips

Kent, WA – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their first three-in-three road trip of the season tonight at 8:00pm as they make a visit to Everett to face the Silvertips at Xfinity Arena.

The Hurricanes (7-11-1-2) are coming off a 4-3 loss last night in Seattle to the Thunderbirds. It was the Hurricanes fifth straight loss and it was their third straight loss away from home. Ryan Bowen, Tyler Wong and Jordy Bellerive scored in the losing cause while Stuart Skinner made 35 saves. The Hurricanes defeated the Silvertips in their only meeting last season in Lethbridge.

The Silvertips (15-2-4-0) are currently second in the Western Hockey League standings only behind the Prince George Cougars. Everett is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss in Kamloops on Wednesday night. The ‘Tips have posted a 7-0-3-0 record in their last ten games while an impressive 8-1-0-0 record on home ice.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Silvertips. Listen on 106.7 ROCK starting at 7:45pm with the pre-game show.
