GAME DAY: Hurricanes Hit the Hat for Final Game

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes conclude the 2016-2017 regular season schedule tonight at 7:30pm as they travel to face the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Canalta Centre.

The Hurricanes (44-20-4-3) have lost three of their last four games after being handed a 5-1 loss on Friday night at home to the Tigers. Ryan Bowen scored the lone goal for the Hurricanes in the losing cause while Stuart Skinner made 37 saves. The Hurricanes finished their home schedule with a record of 25-8-2-1 on the season.

The Tigers (50-20-1-0) eclipsed the century mark in points with the victory last night in Lethbridge. Medicine Hat sits second in the WHL with 101 points on the season. James Hamblin scored twice while Clayton Kirichenko and Chad Butcher had multi-point nights in the win.

Tonight is the final of seven meetings in the regular season between the Hurricanes and the Tigers; the season series is tied 3-3-0-0.
