GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Blades at 7:00pm

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their season-long four game home stand tonight as they welcome the Saskatoon Blades at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (35-16-4-3) have won two straight games after earning a 5-4 shootout victory Friday over the Victoria Royals. Tyler Wong led all ‘Canes skaters with a goal and an assist as well as the shootout winner. The ‘Canes are 15-1-1-1 in their last 18 games. Hurricanes sit second in the Central Division.

The Blades (23-26-6-2) enter play tonight having earned points in five straight games going 3-0-1-1 in that span but are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss last night to Cranbrook to the Kootenay Ice. The Blades are 4-4-1-1 in their last ten games. Blades currently hold down the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight will be the third of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Blades. The two teams have split the previous two meetings with the road team winning both match-ups.
