GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Defending Champs

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Seattle Thunderbirds tonight at 6:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in the final home Sunday game of the season.

The Hurricanes (7-5-0-0) have won three straight games after a 5-4 victory on Friday night over the Calgary Hitmen. Egor Zudilov scored twice in the win while Jordy Bellerive, Calen Addison and Ryan Vandervlis added the others. The ‘Canes are 6-2-0-0 at home this season.

The Thunderbirds (6-5-0-1) are coming off a 4-3 victory last night in Calgary over the Hitmen. The T-birds, who are the defending WHL Champions, are in the midst of their Central Division road trip and are 1-1-0-0 after beginning with a 4-2 loss Friday in Cranbrook to the Kootenay Ice.

Tonight is the lone meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Thunderbirds and the first visit Seattle has made to Lethbridge since November 6th, 2015.

Tonight is also the B93 Halloween Howler, so make sure you dress your best. There will be a haunted house opening at 5:00pm as well as trick-or-treat stations for kids and prizes for best dressed.
