GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Oil Kings

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes kick off a two game weekend tonight when they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (20-15-3-2) are coming off back-to-back losses in Swift Current and Moose Jaw. The ‘Canes dropped a 4-1 decision Wednesday to the Warriors. The ‘Canes enter play tonight second in the Central Division and have posted a 12-5-2-0 record on home ice this season.

The Oil Kings (18-18-3-1) are coming off a 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday night in Edmonton. The OK’s currently sit fourth in the Central Division, but are tied in points with the Red Deer Rebels. Edmonton is 9-8-2-0 on the road this season.

Tonight is the first of three meetings in the next eight days between the Hurricanes and Oil Kings. The two have split a pair of games already this season, both coming in Edmonton.
