GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Red Hot Blades

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the second of a three-game long-weekend tonight as they welcome the Saskatoon Blades to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (29-16-5-5) are coming off a 7-2 win last night in Swift Current over the Broncos. Jake Elmer scored three times, Noah Boyko scored twice while Nick Henry and Logan Barlage added the others. The ‘Canes enter on a two-game winning streak having scored 13 goals in their last two games.

The Blades (36-13-8-0) earned an 8-3 win last night in Kootenay against the Ice in Cranbrook. Kyle Crnkovic, Eric Florchuk and Ryan Hughes all scored twice in the win. The Blades enter on a five-game winning streak and have scored a total of 37 goals in those five games.

Tonight will be the third of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Blades; Lethbridge has posted a 1-0-0-1 record in the two games prior this season.
