GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Warriors on Canes Crush Cancer Night

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes complete a four-game home stand tonight at the ENMAX Centre as they welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors at 7:00pm on ‘Canes Crush Cancer’ Night!

The Hurricanes (9-6-2-2) are coming off a come-from-behind 3-2 shootout victory last night over the Edmonton Oil Kings. It was just the second time this season the ‘Canes won a game when trailing after forty minutes of play. Jake Elmer and Taylor Ross scored in regulation before Ross and Dylan Cozens scored in the shootout. Reece Klassen made 35 saves and stopped four of five in the shootout being named first star.

The Warriors (8-5-3-1) have played the least amount of games in the WHL so this season with just 17. Warriors are coming off a 7-0 shelling of the Tri-City Americans on Tuesday night at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw. The Warriors have posted a 2-0-1-0 in their last three games.

Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and the Warriors and the first of two in the next week.

VS. WARRIORS: Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. The ‘Canes posted a 1-2-1-0 record last year against Moose Jaw. The ‘Canes posted a 1-0-1-0 record in the two games against Moose Jaw at the ENMAX Centre.
