GAME DAY: Hurricanes Kick Off Trip in Kamloops

Kamloops, BC – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a five game British Columbia road trip tonight in Kamloops against the Blazers at 8:00pm Mountain Time at the Sandman Centre.

The Hurricanes (20-19-3-0) enter on a three game winning streak after earning a 5-2 win on Saturday at the ENMAX Centre over the Kootenay Ice. Dylan Cozens led the way with three goals and one assist, including the game-winning goal. It’s the first time the ‘Canes are above the five-hundred mark since December 8th. The ‘Canes are 7-11-1-0 on the road this season.

The Blazers (18-22-1-2) enter having lost back-to-back games on the weekend in Victoria to the Royals, each by a single goal. Kamloops has posted just a 2-6-1-1 record in their last ten games and are 9-12-1-0 on home ice this year. The Blazers started the season 0-9-0-0 on the year and are 18-13-1-2 since but remain in last place in the Western Conference.

Tonight is the final of two meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Blazers; Kamloops took the first match up by a 5-2 score on November 18th at the Sandman Centre.
