GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look for First Home Win

Lethbridge, AB –  The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their home stand tonight as they welcome the Saskatoon Blades to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (2-3-0-0) are coming off a 5-1 loss last night against the Prince Albert Raiders at home. The ‘Canes lone goal came from Taylor Ross in the first period that saw the Hurricanes register 21 shots. The Raiders took over however scoring twice in the second and three times in the third en route to the win. The ‘Canes were 0/8 on the power play in the game.

The Blades (5-2-0-0) are riding a two game winning streak after earning a 3-0 shutout victory in Calgary last night over the Hitmen. Kirby Dach, Logan Christensen and Michael Farren scored the goals in the win while Dorrin Luding made 42 saves for the shutout win.

Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and Blades. Last year, the Hurricanes posted a 2-1-1-0 record against Saskatoon.
