GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to Sweep Weekend Against Tigers

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin a five-game road trip tonight as they visit the Medicine Hat Tigers at 7:30pm at the Canalta Centre.

The Hurricanes (31-17-5-5) are coming off a 6-3 win over the Tigers last night at the ENMAX Centre. Jordy Bellerive scored twice while Jake Elmer, Logan Barlage, Jake Leschyshyn and Taylor Ross scored the others. The win for the Hurricanes was their second straight fourth in their last five games.

The Tigers (31-23-3-2) were handed their fifth straight loss last night with the loss to the Hurricanes. Corson Hopwo scored twice while Ryan Chyzowski scored in the losing cause for Medicine Hat. Tigers enter tonight third in the Central Division and sit five points back of the Hurricanes for second place.

Tonight will be the eighth of ten meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Tigers. The ‘Canes have posted a 4-1-1-1 record in the seven meetings prior taking 10 of a possible 14 points available.
