GAME DAY: Hurricanes Make Final Trip to Queen City

Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a three-game road trip tonight at 6:00pm as they make their final regular season visit to Regina to face the Pats at the Brandt Centre.

The Hurricanes (25-22-6-0) are coming off a 2-0 shutout loss last night in Moose Jaw to the Warriors. It was the fourth time this season the ‘Canes have been shutout. Logan Flodell made 34 saves in the losing cause helping the ‘Canes penalty kill go a perfect 4/4. The ‘Canes had a three-game winning streak end with the defeat.

The Pats (28-23-5-0) were handed a 4-2 setback last night at home by the Kootenay Ice. Nick Henry and Matt Bradley scored the Pats’ goals in the losing cause while Sam Steel had a pair of assists in the game. Ryan Kubic made 29 saves in the loss. The Pats have played a league-high 31 home games so far this season posting a 19-10-2-0 at the Brandt Centre.

Tonight will be the third of four meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and Pats. Lethbridge has posted a 2-0-0-0 record against Regina this season earning 2-0 and 6-2 wins, the latest December 16th at the Brandt Centre.
