GAME DAY: Hurricanes Make Final Visit to ‘Dome

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes begin at home-and-home set with the Calgary Hitmen tonight at 7:00pm at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Hurricanes (43-17-4-3) are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory on Wednesday over the Edmonton Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre. Tyler Wong scored his WHL-leading 49th goal of the season while Brady Pouteau netted his first as a ‘Cane for the game winning goal. The Hurricanes enter on a seven game winning streak and have posted an 11-1-1-0 record in their last 13 away from home.

The Hitmen (25-31-8-2) are on the outside of the playoff picture. Calgary enters play tonight four points back of the Red Deer Rebels for third in the Central Division and three points back of the Saskatoon Blades for the final Wild Card position in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Hitmen. Lethbridge has posted a 3-0-1-0 record this season against Calgary.
