GAME DAY: Hurricanes Make Lone Trip to Spokane

Spokane, WA – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a three-game in four night road trip tonight as they make their lone visit to Spokane to face the Chiefs at 8:05pm MT.

The Hurricanes (15-8-3-2) enter riding a four game winning streak, their longest of the season, after earning a 3-2 overtime victory over the Kootenay Ice on Wednesday. Alex Cotton and Jake Leschyshyn scored in regulation before Dylan Cozens scored the overtime winner. The Hurricanes enter having posted a 6-0-1-0 record in their last seven games.

The Chiefs (14-10-2-2) are coming off a 4-2 loss in Everett to the Silvertips on Wednesday. Riley Woods and Ethan McIndoe scored the goals in the defeat to the ‘Tips. Spokane enters having posted a 6-3-1-0 record in their last ten games but have lost three straight games.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the ‘Canes and Chiefs and Lethbridge’s first trip to Spokane in over two years. The ‘Canes earned a 5-3 win against the Chiefs on October 7th, 2016 in their last visit to Spokane.
