GAME DAY: Hurricanes Meet Oil Kings, Again

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will look to bounce back tonight as they play the second of a three-in-three weekend against the Edmonton Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (23-15-3-3) are coming off a stunning 6-5 shootout loss last night, a game in which the held a 5-1 lead heading into the third period. Jordy Bellerive and Tyler Wong each scored in the game extending their goal scoring streaks to four games each while Brennan Riddle and Brennan Menell also chipped in. Jadon Joseph scored his first WHL goal in the game as well.

The Oil Kings (18-21-3-1) haven’t played since being handed a 7-4 defeat on Wednesday night to the Hurricanes at Rogers Place. Edmonton has lost four straight games, two of them to the ‘Canes both by 7-4 scores. The OK’s enter the game tonight sitting fourth place in the Central Division.

Tonight will be the third meeting in the past eight days between the Hurricanes and the Oil Kings and the fifth of six head-to-head match ups this season.
