GAME DAY: Hurricanes Pit Stop in Brandon

Brandon, MB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their four-game East Division road trip tonight in Brandon against the Wheat Kings at Westoba Place at 6:00pm MT.

The Hurricanes (32-26-6-0) are coming off a 4-1 setback on Saturday in Prince Albert against the Raiders. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the ‘Canes. Dylan Cozens scored the lone goal in the defeat while Logan Flodell made 30 saves in the loss. The Hurricanes enter play tonight 6-2-0-0 in their last eight games.

The Wheat Kings (34-26-3-2) were handed a 3-1 loss on Saturday in Swift Current against the Broncos. Linden McCorrister scored the only goal in the loss for Brandon while Logan Thompson was tasked with 33 saves. Brandon enters play tonight having posted a 4-6-0-0 record in their last ten games. The Wheat Kings are 7-14-2-1 since the WHL Trade Deadline.

Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Wheat Kings; the ‘Canes have posted a 1-2-0-0 record against the Wheaties this season.
