GAME DAY: Hurricanes Return Home; Host Rebels at 7pm

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to the ENMAX Centre tonight to welcome the Red Deer Rebels at 7:00pm on ENMAX Fan Appreciation Night.

The Hurricanes (32-28-6-0) are coming off a four game East Division road trip that saw them post a 1-3-0-0 record. The ‘Canes were handed a 6-2 loss on Wednesday in Moose Jaw against the Warriors. Taylor Ross and Dylan Cozens scored in the defeat while Logan Flodell made 33 saves. The ‘Canes enter tonight on a three-game losing streak; they’ve posted a 19-10-4-0 record at home this season.

The Rebels (24-30-10-3) enter coming off a 6-2 loss of their own last Sunday in Calgary to the Hitmen. Red Deer surrendered six third period goals in the defeat. It was their third straight road loss as they’ve allowed six goals in all three games. Red Deer enters having posted a 14-8-3-0 record since the WHL Trade Deadline.

Tonight will be the fifth of six regular season meetings between the Hurricanes and Rebels. The ‘Canes have posted a 4-0-0-0 record so far and are 16-1-1-0 in their last 18 regular season meetings dating back to February of 2015.
