GAME DAY: Hurricanes Travel to Face Red Deer

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes get right back at it Saturday night as they travel to face the Red Deer Rebels in the second half of a back-to-back, home-and-home at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (13-11-1-2) earned a 5-3 win on Friday night over the Rebels in Lethbridge. It was a big night of the trio of Jordy Bellerive, Giorgio Estephan and Tyler Wong who combined for 10 points between them. Bellerive scoring twice, including the Teddy Bear Toss goal. It was the Hurricanes sixth straight victory.

The Rebels (13-12-2-2) enter tonight with a one point cushion on the Hurricanes in the Central Division but the Hurricanes have two games in hand. The Rebels are 4-5-1-1 in their last 11 games after last night’s loss to the Hurricanes.

Tonight will be the third of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Rebels. The ‘Canes have won the first two this season by a combined score of 11-4 and have won nine of the last ten meetings against Red Deer.
