GAME DAY: Hurricanes Travel to Swift Current

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their second three-in-three weekend tonight as they make their first of two trips to Swift Current to face the Broncos at 6:00pm Alberta Time.

The Hurricanes (16-11-2-2) are coming off a hard fought 3-2 victory last night at home against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The win improved the ‘Canes streak to 9-0-1-0 in their last ten games and 16-11-2-2 on the year. The win also helped the Hurricanes into sole possession of second in the Central Division with 36 points.

The Broncos (15-10-2-4) were handed an 8-1 loss last night in Regina to the Pats. The Tigers enter play tonight sitting third place in the difficult East Division with 36 points. Swift Current is 8-5-1-1 on home ice this season at Credit Union I-Plex.

Tonight will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Broncos. The ‘Canes defeated Swift Current back in November.
