GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Blades

Saskatoon, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the second of a two game Saskatchewan road trip tonight at 6:00pm MT as they visit the Saskatoon Blades at SaskTel Centre.

The Hurricanes (27-15-4-3) are coming off a 5-4 victory last night in Prince Albert over the Raiders. Brennan Menell and Tyler Wong each had three point efforts in the win while Ryan Bowen, who returned from injury, scored the game winning goal. The ‘Canes enter play tonight second in the Central Division, six points back of the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Blades (20-23-5-1) are coming off a 4-2 loss last night in Moose Jaw to the Warriors. The loss snapped a five game winning streak for the Blades. Jesse Shynkaruk and Bryton Sayers scored the goals in the game for Saskatoon. The Blades enter play tonight fifth in the East Division and currently holding the second of the two Eastern Conference Wild Card positions.

Tonight is the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Blades, Saskatoon earned a 5-3 victory in the lone meeting back on November 13th at the ENMAX Centre.

The game will be broadcast live on the WHL on SHAW.
