GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Rebels For Final Time

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes kick off a stretch of four games in five nights tonight as they travel to Red Deer to face the Rebels at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (31-15-4-3) have won seven straight games after a 3-0 shutout win over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night. Stuart Skinner made 31 saves for his sixth career shutout while Tyler Wong, Brennan Menell and Egor Babenko scored the goals. The ‘Canes have accumulated at least a single point in 13 straight games going 11-0-1-1 in that span.

The Rebels (23-22-5-3) enter play having posted a 3-5-1-1 record in their last ten games. Red Deer is coming off a 4-2 loss on Saturday in Saskatoon to the Blades. The Rebels enter play third in the Central Division sitting 15 points back of the Hurricanes.

Tonight will be the final of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Rebels, the ‘Canes are 4-0-1-0 this season in the prior five meetings. Lethbridge has posted an 11-1-1-0 record in the last 13 head-to-head meetings with Red Deer dating back to February of 2015.
