GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Tigers in Final Regular Season Game

Medicine Hat, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end the regular season tonight as they visit the Medicine Hat Tigers  at the Canalta Centre at 7:30pm in the final of ten meetings on the season.

The Hurricanes (39-18-5-5) enter on a season-long seven game winning streak after earning a 4-3 victory last night in Red Deer against the Rebels. Jake Leschyshyn scored three while Dylan Cozens had the other in the victory. The ‘Canes have won four straight games on the road and are 10-1-0-0 in their last 11 games.

The Tigers (35-26-4-2) earned a 5-2 win last night in Cranbrook against the Kootenay Ice. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp for Medicine Hat in the victory while Mads Sogaard made 29 saves in the win. The Tigers enter on a three-game winning streak.

Tonight will be the final regular season game for both clubs as it will be the tenth meeting of the season between the ‘Canes and Tigers; Lethbridge has posted a 6-1-1-1 record and have won the last three meetings.
