GAME DAY: Hurricanes Visit Warriors

Regina, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the second of a three-game East Division road trip tonight as they make the first of two trips to Moose Jaw to face the Warriors at Mosaic Place tonight at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (5-4-1-1) are coming off a 6-1 loss on Tuesday night in Regina against the Pats to drop their road record to 1-2-0-1 on the year. The Hurricanes have lost three straight games and four of five entering play tonight. Despite the tough stretch, the Hurricanes still sit tied for second in the Central Division with 12 points.

The Warriors (6-2-2-0) are off to a great start and have won two straight games entering play tonight. Moose Jaw is coming off a 5-4 overtime win on Monday night in Edmonton against the Oil Kings. The Warriors have posted a 3-1-1-0 record on home ice this season and sit second in the East Division.

Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. Lethbridge won the last three meetings of the season last year against Moose Jaw. Tune into 106.7 ROCK starting at 6:45pm for the pre-game show with Dustin Forbes.

LAST GAME: 6-1 Loss at Regina: The Lethbridge Hurricanes were handed their third straight loss on Tuesday night in Regina as the dropped a 6-1 decision to the Pats. It was the ‘Canes sixth straight defeat to the Pats, playoffs included. Giorgio Estephan scored the lone goal in the loss for the Hurricanes.

VS. WARRIORS: Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Warriors. The ‘Canes won three of four contests between the two last year with the last meeting coming on March 2nd in Moose Jaw when the Hurricanes won 5-1. The ‘Canes won the final three meetings last year.
