GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Pats

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their home-stand tonight as they welcome the Regina Pats at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (5-5-0-0) are coming off a convincing 7-2 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Sunday night. Zane Franklin scored his first WHL hat-trick in that game while Dylan Cozens, Ryan Vandervlis, Brady Pouteau and Egor Zudilov netted the others. For Zudilov, it was his first goal in the WHL. The win improved the ‘Canes home ice record to 4-2-0-0 on the season.

The Pats (8-5-1-0) are coming off a 6-3 win last night in Kootenay over the Ice. Robbie Holmes scored twice for the Pats in the win while Matt Bradley, Bryce Platt, George King and Josh Mahura scored singles. The win improved Regina’s road record to 2-2-1-0 on the season.

Tonight will be the first of four meetings on the season between the ‘Canes and Pats and is the first time they’ve faced each other since Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Championship Series last year. The ‘Canes split the regular season series with the Pats last year posting a 2-2-0-0 record.

Tickets for tonight’s game are available online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
