GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Royals at 7pm

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes kick off a four game home stand tonight as they welcome the Victoria Royals at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre.

The Hurricanes (34-16-4-3) have been off since Sunday when they earned a 6-4 victory in Cranbrook over the Kootenay Ice. Zak Zborosky led the way for the Hurricanes in the victory with two goals and one assist while Adam Swan made 28 saves for his first WHL win in his first WHL start. The ‘Canes enter play tonight with a 14-1-1-1 record in their last 17 games and sit second in the Central Division.

The Royals (31-23-4-0) enter tonight on a two game losing streak after kicking off their three game Central Division road trip with a 3-1 loss in Medicine Hat on Wednesday night. Victoria has posted a 5-5-0-0 record in their last ten games and currently hold the first Wild Card position in the Western Conference.

Tonight is the final of three meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Royals. The teams have split the season series thus far with the home team winning both games. Tonight is also the final meeting against a Western Conference opponent for the ‘Canes.
