GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Silvertips in Only Meeting

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Everett Silvertips tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in their only meeting this season.

The Hurricanes (3-3-0-0) are coming off a 6-2 loss on Tuesday in Swift Current to the undefeated Broncos, despite holding the shot advantage 47-35 in the game. Calen Addison and Giorgio Estephan each scored for the second straight game in the loss; both have points in four straight games going into play tonight.

The Silvertips (3-6-0-0) are in the midst of a nine game road trip and are coming off a 5-4 loss Wednesday in Medicine Hat to the Tigers. Everett has been without Carter Hart as he is sidelined with injury and is listed as week-to-week. The ‘Tips are currently 2-5-0-0 in the first seven games of the marathon trek.

Tonight will be the only meeting of the season between the ‘Canes and ‘Tips. Lethbridge has won each of the last two head-to-head meetings. Tonight is Everett’s first visit to Lethbridge since November 18th, 2015 when the ‘Canes earned a 4-3 win.

Addison Gold/Pre-Draft Rankings: ‘Canes defenseman Calen Addison was ranked as a ‘B’ skater on the NHL Central Scouting Preliminary ‘Players to Watch’ List.
