GAME DAY: Hurricanes Welcome Wheat Kings

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings tonight at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (5-4-1-2) are coming off a convincing 8-3 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night. Eight different goal scorers lit the lamp for the ‘Canes in the victory, including Jadon Joseph who extended his team-high point scoring streak to six straight games. The ‘Canes have earned at least a point in five of their last six games.

The Wheat Kings (6-1-2-1) ended a five-game homestand on Saturday with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Calgary Hitmen. The Wheaties posted a 2-1-1-1 record on the homestand. Tonight will be the first of a seven-game, 14-day road trip for Brandon that will see them also visit the Kootenay Ice and all five BC Division teams.

Tonight will be the second of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Wheat Kings. Brandon earned an 8-4 win over the ‘Canes on September 29th at Westoba Place.
