GAME DAY: Hurricanes Wrap Home-stand Against Hitmen

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes play the final of a season long seven game home-stand tonight as they welcome the Calgary Hitmen at the ENMAX Centre.

The Hurricanes (7-6-1-0) have lost two straight games after suffering a 2-1 overtime loss on Wednesday to the Saskatoon Blades. The ‘Canes are currently 3-2-1-0 in the first six games on the home-stand and are 6-3-1-0 overall at the ENMAX Centre this season.

The Hitmen (4-10-1-0) enter on a three game losing streak themselves which includes a 5-4 loss in Lethbridge last Friday. The Hitmen are coming off a 4-3 loss against Seattle last Saturday at Scotiabank Saddledome. Calgary currently sits last in the WHL’s Eastern Conference.

Tonight is the first of a home-and-home with the Hitmen for the Hurricanes and the third meeting this year. The ‘Canes have won the previous two head-to-head meetings by a combined 8-5.
