GAME DAY: Hurricanes Wrap Homestand Against Warriors

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes conclude a three-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.

The Hurricanes (30-25-6-0) are coming off a 7-2 triumph over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday night at home. Jordy Bellerive and Calen Addison each had three points while five others had multi-point efforts. The win was the ‘Canes 30th of the season which marks the third straight campaign they have reached that plateau. Lethbridge enters tonight 18-10-4-0 on home ice.

The Warriors (46-12-1-2) enter after earning a 4-2 win on Sunday in Saskatoon against the Blades. Brayden Burke had three points, including two goals and an assist, in the victory while Justin Almeida had three helpers. Moose Jaw sits first overall in the WHL with 95 points. The have a road record of 22-8-0-1 which ranks as the best road record in the league.

Tonight will be the third meeting of four this season between the Hurricanes and Warriors; the ‘Canes are 0-1-1-0 on the season against Moose Jaw and have posted a 1-4-1-0 record in the last six head-to-head meetings.

Tonight is also Lethbridge Herald night and the first 1,000 fans through the doors at the ENMAX Centre will receive 2017-2018 Lethbridge Hurricanes hockey cards.
