GAME DAY: Hurricanes Wrap Trip in Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes wrap up a four game East Division road trip tonight in Moose Jaw against the Warriors at 6:00pm at Mosaic Place.

The Hurricanes (32-27-6-0) were handed their second straight loss last night as they dropped a 6-0 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings. The ‘Canes were outshot 33-32 in the contest and went 0/8 on the power play while just 3/6 on the penalty kill. The loss dropped the Hurricanes record to 1-2-0-0 on this four game trip thus far.

The Warriors (48-14-1-2) sit first in the WHL with 99 points on the season; one better than their division rival Swift Current Broncos. Moose Jaw is just 5-5-0-0 in their last ten games, but are coming off 5-1 win on Saturday over the Saskatoon Blades. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win while Brody Willms made 25 saves in goal.

Tonight is the final of four regular season meetings between the Hurricanes and Warriors; the ‘Canes have posted a 1-2-0-0 record against Moose Jaw this season after defeating them 4-3 in Lethbridge last Tuesday.
