GAME DAY: Hurricanes Wrap Up 3-in-3 in Cranbrook

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes wrap up a three-in-three weekend today as they travel to Cranbrook to take on the Kootenay Ice in the second of a back-to-back, home-and-home.

The Hurricanes (28-24-6-0) are coming off a 5-2 win last night at home against the Ice. Jordy Bellerive potted his 40th and 41st goals of the season in the win while Dylan Cozens, Brad Morrison and Jadon Joseph added the others. The win was the ‘Canes second straight victory.

The Ice (25-32-3-0) were handed a 5-2 defeat last night in Lethbridge. The Ice jumped out to a 2-0 lead only to see the Hurricanes score five unanswered goals. Cameron Hausinger and Gilian Kohler scored in the losing cause while Matt Berlin was named the game’s third star with 36 saves.

Tonight will be the final of seven meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Ice. Lethbridge has posted a 5-1-0-0 record in the prior six head-to-head meetings.
