GAME DAY: Hurricanes Wrap Up Trip in Kootenay

Cranbrook, BC – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will complete a five game road trip tonight at 7:00pm when they visit the Kootenay Ice at Western Financial Place.

The Hurricanes (22-20-4-0) are coming off a 4-2 loss on Saturday in Prince George against the Cougars. Keltie Jeri-Leon and Jake Elmer scored the goals in the losing cause while Logan Flodell made 28 saves. The ‘Canes are currently 2-1-1-0 on this road trip and 5-1-1-0 in their last seven games. The Hurricanes have a 9-12-2-0 record on the road this season.

The Ice (20-23-3-0) have been off since Friday when they were handed a 5-1 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings at home. Sebastian Streu netted the only goal in the loss to Edmonton while Matt Berlin allowed five goals on 19 shots. The Ice have posted an 11-8-2-0 record on home ice this season.

Tonight will be the fourth meeting on the season between the Hurricanes and Ice; Lethbridge has posted a 3-0-0-0 record against Kootenay this season outscoring them 15-2 in those three games.
