Hurricanes Acquire Ross from Spokane

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Saturday the acquisition of 19-year-old forward Taylor Ross from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a conditional draft pick in 2019.

Ross, 19, was originally selected in the fourth round (82nd overall) in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft by the Spokane Chiefs. The product of Kronau, Saskatchewan has played parts of four seasons with the Chiefs appearing in 116 games while collecting 28 points (12g-16a) along with 25 penalty minutes.

The 6’1, 216-pound forward has four points (2g-2a) along with six penalty minutes in 15 games this season with the Chiefs. He played his midget and bantam hockey with the Notre Dame Argos and Hounds.

The Hurricanes return to action this Friday on Hero’s Night when they welcome the Chiefs at 7:00pm. Tickets are available online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
