Hurricanes Wrap Up 2016 in Medicine Hat

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes wrap up their 2016 portion of their schedule tonight as they travel to Medicine Hat to face the Tigers in a showdown of the top two teams in the Central Division at 7:30pm.

The Hurricanes (19-13-3-2) sit second in the Central with 43 points. The ‘Canes are coming off a 4-1 victory on Wednesday night over the Kootenay Ice, a win that snapped a three game losing streak. Despite the mini slide, the ‘Canes have still posted an impressive 12-2-2-0 record in their last 16 outings.

The Tigers (27-10-1-0) are having a great bounce back season. After an early December losing streak, the Tigers have jumped back on a run as they’ve reeled of six straight wins, the most recent a 3-2 victory on Wednesday in Calgary over the Hitmen.

Tonight will be the fourth of seven meetings between the ‘Canes and the Tigers – Lethbridge has won two of the three match ups but the home team has won all three meetings thus far.
