Celebrity Dinner: The Hurricanes will hold the 11th Annual Celebrity Dinner on Friday, February 3rd at the Coast Hotel. The night will include Kelly Taylor as the Master of Ceremonies. The night will be a chance to honour the 20th Anniversary of the 1996-1997 Championship Hurricanes with players like Chris Phillips, Bryce Salvador, Travis Brigley and more on hand. Wednesday, January 18th – 5-1 Win vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes picked up a 5-1 victory on Wednesday over Ryley Lindgren and the Broncos. Stuart Skinner was sensational making 41 saves in the win while Ryan Vandervlis scored twice including the game winning goal. Giorgio Estephan, Jordy Bellerive and Zak Zborosky scored the other goals in the victory.

Saturday, January 21st – 3-2 OT Win vs. Calgary Hitmen: The Hurricanes picked up just their second win of the season when trailing after two periods of play as they came from behind to beat the Hitmen 3-2 in overtime. Alec Baer scored his sixth as a ‘Cane in the game. Tyler Wong scored the game-tying goal with 18 seconds left in regulation before Zak Zborosky netted the OT winner.


Friday, January 27th, 6:00pm at Prince Albert Raiders: The Hurricanes make their first of two trips to Prince Albert this Friday to face the Raiders. The ‘Canes knocked off the Raiders 5-1 in their only meeting this season that came at the ENMAX Centre.

Saturday, January 28th, 6:00pm at Saskatoon Blades: The ‘Canes will wrap up their quick two game Saskatchewan road trip on Saturday in Saskatoon against the Blades. The Hurricanes and Blades have met once this season with Saskatoon picking up a 5-3 win.

Come Back Win: The Hurricanes picked up just their second win of the season when trailing after two periods on Saturday night. The ‘Canes picked up a 3-2 overtime win over the Calgary Hitmen. The victory improved their record to 2-12-2-1 on the season when trailing after two periods.

Rollin’: The Hurricanes continue to roll. The ‘Canes have posted a 6-0-1-1 record in their last eight games and have recorded an impressive 19-4-3-1 record in their last 27 games dating back to the end of November.

Top 30 Players: The Hurricanes continue to unveil their Top 30 Players in franchise history. Coming in at #9 was Bryan Bosch. Bosch was an original Hurricane who also played one season with the Calgary Wranglers. In 211 regular season games with the Hurricanes after the move to Lethbridge, Bosch racked up 299 points (108g-191a). He registered 356 points (122g-234a) in four years with the Wranglers and Hurricanes while appearing in 285 regular season games.
