Celebrity Dinner 80% Sold: The Hurricanes will hold the 11th Annual Celebrity Dinner on Friday, February 3rd at the Coast Hotel. The night will include Kelly Taylor as the Master of Ceremonies. The night will be a chance to honour the 20th Anniversary of the 1996-1997 Championship Hurricanes with players like Chris Phillips, Bryce Salvador, Travis Brigley and more on hand. Special Pregame Ceremony on Saturday: Be sure to be in your seats well by 6:20pm on Saturday night as the Hurricanes will be wearing special throwback 1997 Anniversary jerseys during warm-up. Friday, January 27th – 5-4 Win at Prince Albert Raiders: The Hurricanes earned their third straight victory with a 5-4 win at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert on Friday night. Brennan Menell and Tyler Wong each picked up three points in the victory while Ryan Bowen scored the game winning goal in his return from injury.
Saturday, January 28th – 3-1 Win at Saskatoon Blades: The Hurricanes picked up their fourth straight win on the backs of a 27 save performance by Ryan Gilchrist who was named the game’s first star. Jordy Bellerive scored twice while Zak Zborosky added the other in the win.

Tuesday, January 31st, 7:00pm vs. Brandon Wheat Kings: The Hurricanes will return home to wrap up the month of January with their second of four games this year against the defending WHL Champion Brandon Wheat Kings. The Wheaties beat the ‘Canes 6-1 back in October in Brandon.
Wednesday, February 1st, 7:00pm at Red Deer Rebels: The ‘Canes will begin February with the first of two trips to Red Deer within a week as they face the Rebels Wednesday. The ‘Canes are 3-0-1-0 against Red Deer this season with the only blemish coming at the ENMAX Centrium.
Saturday, February 4th, 7:00pm vs. Moose Jaw Warriors: The ‘Canes will host the Warriors for the first time this season on Saturday night. The Hurricanes and Warriors have met twice this season with Moose Jaw picking up both games at Mosaic Place.

Top 30 Players: The Hurricanes continue to unveil their Top 30 Players in franchise history. Coming in at #8 was Nathan Barrett. Barrett was one of the best scoring in Hurricanes history. He was a ‘Cane from 1998 to 2002 and appeared in 236 regular season games accumulating 309 points (147g-162a). He ranks third All-Time in franchise points and second in All-Time goals.
