Pouteau Traded Back to Regina

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Monday that they have traded 1998-born defenseman Brady Pouteau to the Regina Pats in exchange for a seventh round draft pick in the 2018 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Pouteau, 19, was originally acquired by the Hurricanes in January of 2017 from the Pats. The product of Oak Bluff, Manitoba was originally drafted by the Pats in the fourth round (79th overall) by Regina in the 2013 Bantam Draft. In 61 regular season games with the Hurricanes, Pouteau registered 21 points (2g-19a) and 35 penalty minutes. He added five assists in 20 post-season games.

The Hurricanes return to action Friday when they travel to Red Deer to face the Rebels before welcoming the Kootenay Ice to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday. Tickets for the game can be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
