WEDNESDAY'S WHL PRE-SEASON MATCH-UP
 

HURRICANES HOST TIGERS – The Lethbridge Hurricanes (1-2-0-0) host the Medicine Hat Tigers (1-2-0-0) in the lone WHL pre-season contest on Wednesday.

The Tigers doubled up the Hurricanes 8-4 on Sunday in Medicine Hat for their first pre-season win.  Curtis Valk tallied three goals and five points while Hunter Shinkaruk netted a goal and three assists in the victory. 

The Hurricanes got three goals from Remi Laurencelle in Sunday’s setback to the Tigers.  The ‘Canes close out their pre-season schedule on the weekend with games versus Kootenay and Calgary in Crowsnest Pass.

The 2012-13 WHL Regular Season begins on Thursday, September 20th, with the defending WHL Champion Edmonton Oil Kings hosting the Kootenay Ice.
