4-Less: The Hurricanes are off to the third round and have played four less games compared to last season when they went to the East Final. The ‘Canes needed seven games in the first and second round last year en route to the third round while this season the ‘Canes just needed five games in each of the first two rounds.

TBD: The ‘Canes await to find out who they’ll face in the third round of the playoffs. They will either face the Swift Current Broncos or the Moose Jaw Warriors; the two teams will face-off in Game 7 on Monday night in Moose Jaw. The ‘Canes posted a 1-2-1-0 record in the regular season against the Warriors and a 1-3-0-0 record against the Broncos.

Once/None: The ‘Canes have faced the Moose Jaw Warriors just once before in the WHL Playoffs with that meeting coming back in 1997 when Lethbridge defeated MJ in six games in the second round. Lethbridge has never faced Swift Current in the post-season.
