Home Away From Home: Catch all the Hurricanes road action all playoffs long at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge. There are two locations to choose from: South (on Mayor Magrath Drive) and West (University Drive). Browns Socialhouse is your official Home Away From Home.

Next Home Game?: The Hurricanes are unsure when their next home playoff game will be. However, once they know when they will play at home again tickets for that game will go on sale on the following business day at 9:00am. Stay tuned for confirmation of when they will be back at the ENMAX Centre. Tickets will be able to be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

Series Schedule: The Hurricanes will face the Red Deer Rebels in the first round of the playoffs for the second straight season, the series schedule is as follows:

Game 1 – Friday, March 23rd – at Lethbridge, 7:00pm (6-0 Win)
Game 2 – Saturday, March 24th – at Lethbridge, 7:00pm (8-3 Win)

Game 3 – Tuesday, March 27th – at Red Deer, 7:00pm
Game 4 – Wednesday, March 28th – at Red Deer, 7:00pm
*Game 5 – Saturday, March 31st – at Lethbridge, 7:00pm
*Game 6 – Sunday, April 1st – at Red Deer, 6:00pm

Friday, March 23rd – 6-0 Win vs. Red Deer Rebels (Game 1): The Hurricanes jumped out to a 1-0 series lead as they skated to a convincing 6-0 triumph in Game 1 at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes were led by Jake Elmer and Jadon Joseph who both had three points while Logan Flodell made 30 saves for his first shutout as a member of the ‘Canes.

Saturday, March 24th – 8-3 Win vs. Red Deer Rebels (Game 2): The ‘Canes shellacked the Rebels in Game 2 by a 8-3 score to take a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven first round match-up. Brad Morrison had six points (2g-4a) while Dylan Cozens had four points, including his first ever playoff hat-trick. The ‘Canes scored three times on the power play in the victory.


(GAME 3) Tuesday, March 27th, 7:00pm at Red Deer Rebels: The Hurricanes will travel to Red Deer to take on the Rebels in Game 3 of their series on Tuesday at the ENMAX Centrium. The Hurricanes posted a 2-1-0-0 record in Red Deer during the regular season.

(GAME 4) Wednesday, March 28th, 7:00pm at Red Deer Rebels: The ‘Canes play the back-half of a back-to-back in Red Deer on Wednesday in Game 4 of their best-of-seven series. Watch the game at Browns Socialhouse in Lethbridge.

Great Start: The Hurricanes started the WHL Playoffs with a bang on the weekend taking both home games to jump out to a 2-0 series lead in the best-of-seven first round playoff match-up with the Red Deer Rebels. The ‘Canes earned a 6-0 win in Game 1 and then an 8-3 win in Game 2 outscoring the Rebels 14-3 in the opening two games.

Special Night: Hurricanes overage forward Brad Morrison had a night to remember on Saturday as he racked up six points in the 8-3 win over the Rebels. Morrison scored twice and had four assists in the victory. Dylan Cozens also had a special night as he had a four point effort in the game, including a playoff hat-trick.

Snowman: The Hurricanes racked up eight goals in Game 2 against the Rebels. It was the most goals in a playoff game for the ‘Canes since they potted eight in an 8-4 win in Game 3 of the first round against the Saskatoon Blades back in March 25th/1992. The most goals ever scored in a playoff game by the Hurricanes is 12, having been done twice.
