KiSS Night/Toy Mountain: Wednesday will be KiSS 107.7 Toy Mountain Night at the game. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Centre Village Mall’s Toy Mountain. Doors open at 6:00pm, puck drops at 7:00pm.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Night: The Hurricanes will host Ugly Christmas Sweater Night on Saturday, December 14th when they welcome the Calgary Hitmen! In addition, Santa Claus will be at the game all the way from the North Pole and will be taking pictures during the game!
Celebrity Dinner: The Hurricanes will host their annual Celebrity Dinner on January 25th at Sandman Signature Lodge. The night will feature former NHLer and ‘Cane Wes Walz and will be hosted by TSN’s Play By Play Announcer Dennis Beyak who is the television voice of the Winnipeg Jets. Christmas Hours: The Hurricanes Office will be closed from Monday, December 16th until Thursday, January 3rd. Top Shelf will be open on December 13th from noon until 7:00pm and December 16th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.

Tuesday, December 4th – 8-3 Loss at Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes were downed Tuesday 8-3 in Medicine Hat to the Tigers. Dylan Cozens, Chase Wheatcroft and Logan Barlage scored in the loss.
Wednesday, December 5th – 3-1 Loss vs. Everett Silvertips: The Hurricanes dropped their third straight game overall and to the Silvertips with a 3-1 loss on Wednesday. Oliver Okuliar scored the lone goal while Bryan Thomson made 34 saves.
Friday, December 7th – 4-3 SO Loss vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes were downed 4-3 in a shootout on Friday in the Teddy Bear Toss game. Okuliar scored the Teddy goal.
Saturday, December 8th – 5-3 Win at Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes ended a four-game losing streak on Saturday with a 5-3 win in Swift Current. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win.

Wednesday, December 11th – vs. Red Deer Rebels (7:00pm): The Hurricanes begin their final week before the Christmas break on Wednesday as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the ENMAX Centre. The ‘Canes are 2-1-0-0 against the Rebels this season beating them 11-2 in their last meeting.
Saturday, December 14th – vs. Calgary Hitmen (7:00pm): The Hurricanes welcome the Calgary Hitmen to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday in their first of seven meetings on the season. It will be the first of three in a row against Calgary.
Sunday, December 15th – at Calgary Hitmen (2:00pm): The ‘Canes play their final game before the Christmas break on Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Saddledome. It will be the second of three straight against the Hitmen as they will play on December 27th after the break.

Gone-zo: The Hurricanes begin life without Dylan Cozens, Calen Addison and Oliver Okuliar as the three are attending World Junior camps. Cozens and Addison are in Oakville representing Canada while Okuliar is attending Slovakia’s camp.
Another First: Hurricanes forward Nick Dorrington scored his first WHL goal on Saturday in a 5-3 win over the Swift Current Broncos. Dorrington became the ninth Hurricane this season to score his first in the WHL.
Heavy Sked: The Hurricanes are in a stretch of a lot of game against the Central Division. The ‘Canes play a total of eight straight against Central opponents before and after the Christmas break while a total of 13 of 14 against divisional opposition between December 6th and January 22nd.
