GAME DAY: Hurricanes Begin Trip in Swift Current
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will put a two-game winning streak on the line tonight as they begin a four-game road trip in Swift Current against the Broncos.
The Hurricanes (17-18-2-1) earned a 5-4 victory on Friday against the Regina Pats at the ENMAX Centre. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win as Joe Arntsen scored the game-winning goal with just 2.3 seconds left in regulation. Lethbridge enters play tonight with a 6-11-0-0 record on the road this season.
The Broncos (15-23-4-1) are coming off a 3-1 defeat last night at home to the Moose Jaw Warriors. Josh Filmon scored the lone goal in the setback while Isaac Poulter made 25-saves in the loss. Swift Current enters on a two-game losing streak and have posted a 10-10-0-0 record at home this season.
