GAME DAY: Hurricanes Entertain Hitmen at 7pm
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Calgary Hitmen tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in the first of a two-game homestand.
The Hurricanes (30-30-4-1) enter on a four-game point streak after suffering a 5-4 overtime loss in Red Deer to the Rebels on Friday. Logan Wormald scored twice while Yegor Klavdiev and Noah Chadwick scored in the loss while Jared Picklyk made 30-saves. Lethbridge has posted a 3-0-1-0 record in their last four games and have won back-to-back home games as they enter with a 16-13-2-1 on the season at the ENMAX Centre.
The Hitmen (25-31-6-2) have been idle since a 5-2 victory over the Swift Current Broncos last Sunday. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win while Brayden Peters made 29-saves in the victory. Calgary enters play on a three-game winning streak and have won five of their las seven games. Calgary enters play tonight with an 11-18-2-0 record away from home this season.
Tonight will be the seventh of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Hitmen; Lethbridge has posted a 5-1-0-0 record in the previous six meetings against Calgary.
