GAME DAY: Hurricanes Face Blades for Final Time

Saskatoon, SK – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a five-game road trip as they begin the first of four games in Saskatchewan in Saskatoon against the Blades tonight at 6:00pm MT.

The Hurricanes (32-17-5-5) enter on a three-game winning streak having earned a 5-0 win on Saturday against the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Canalta Centre. Calen Addison scored twice while Jordy Bellerive, Jake Elmer and Nick Henry scored the others. The ‘Canes have won five of their last six games and are 15-8-4-1 on the road this season.

The Blades (38-14-8-0) are coming off a 4-3 shootout victory on Saturday over the Kootenay Ice in the first of a four-game homestand. Saskatoon enters tonight having secured their first playoff position since 2013 as they continue to jockey for home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Blades enter tonight 12-1-2-0 in their last 15 games.

Tonight will be the final of four meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Blades; Lethbridge has posted a 1-1-0-1 record in the three meetings so far this season with their lone win coming at SaskTel Centre in November.
