GAME DAY: Hurricanes Finish Pre-Season in Red Deer

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes round out their 2021 ENMAX Pre-Season schedule on Saturday when they visit the Red Deer Rebels at 7:00pm at Peavey Mart Centrium.

The Hurricanes (2-1-0-0) earned a 4-3 victory last night in the first of a home-and-home set against the Rebels. Justin Hall scored twice while Peter Repcik and Alex Thacker added the others. Jared Picklyk was credited with the victory. The ‘Canes are 0-1-0-0 on the road during the exhibition season.

The Rebels (2-2-0-0) were downed by the Hurricanes 4-3 last night on the road. Red Deer outshot the Hurricanes 14-3 in the third period. Kai Uchacz, Arjun Bawa and Carter Anderson scored in the losing cause. In the pre-season, the Rebels are 1-0-0-0 on home ice.

Tonight will be the final pre-season for both the Hurricanes and the Rebels.
